I just saw a John Deere backhoe? I thought John Deere only manufactured tractors.
If you drive by a farm, you will probably see machinery in one of two popular colors. There are many tractor manufacturers, but the two that you will see most often are John Deere and Allis Chalmers. John Deere tractors are green. Allis Chalmers tractors are orange. Chances are, you will not see green and orange tractors on the same farm. Usually farmers are proud supporters of one company or the other. Showing support for one of the companies usually means that you are required to despise the other. I saw some John Deere equipment the other day, but I was nowhere near a farm. It was near a construction site that I saw a John Deere backhoe. I never knew that the company manufactured construction equipment, but it does. And yes, in case you were wondering, the backhoes were green.
