Prevent gum disease to progress at an early stage
An indication of swollen gums is the obvious redness, tenderness and puffy gums. The inflammation is caused by the plaque and can be the effect of toothpastes and mouthwashes. For the first sign of swollen gums this should be controlled immediately to halt its progression that may lead to a more serious periodontal disease. At first, the patient may experience gingivitis, simplest form of gum disease but if gingivitis is also left untreated it can as well affect the gum tissues and bones resulting to tooth loose. But when oral hygiene is observe by every individual swollen gums and advance gum disease may be avoided.
