Know the warning signs of stroke
Know the warning signs of stroke:
Sudden members or weakness of face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body.
Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding.
Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes.
Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination.
Sudden, severe headaches with no known cause.
About 40 percent of strokes arc preceded by “mini-strokes,” or transient ischemic attacks (TIAs). A person who has had one or more TIA is almost 10 times more likely to have a stroke.
