Duffle Bags or Suitcases?
Which is the better luggage for traveling, duffel bags or suitcases? I have always preferred duffel bags. There are so many compartments, it is easy to sling more than one over your shoulders to carry them, and they stand out more in baggage claim. My husband likes suitcases though. He says he’s had things get wrecked in duffel bags that baggage handlers dropped in wet areas or threw around when there was fragile items inside. Now that I travel with him I usually end up sharing suitcases, but I still like duffel bags and usually use them for carry on bags.
